From Hiring Talent to Creating It — The Workfreaks Journey
Founded in 2015, At Workfreaks, We began with a clear purpose, to help organizations grow by finding and nurturing the right talent. Over the years, we’ve partnered with hundreds of companies across industries, solving real hiring and workforce development challenges. But as we worked deeper into the ecosystem, we noticed something consistent: the gap between the Academic syllabus & growing Industry demands.
Students were graduating with degrees but without real-world readiness. Companies were hiring, but struggling with attrition and misaligned candidates. There was an urgent need for a new approach, one that prepared students not just to qualify for jobs, but to thrive in them.
Turning Challenge Into Change - COVID-19
Then came the COVID-19 pandemic that brought the world to a standstill. Businesses froze hiring. Colleges couldn’t offer campus placements. Thousands of graduates were left stranded — holding degrees, but without jobs. Ambitions were ambushed, and uncertainty loomed large. At the same time, companies weren’t looking for just qualifications — they needed people who could deliver from day one, not someone they had to train from scratch.
In the midst of this disruption, one truth stood out: education had to evolve.
Qualifications alone were no longer enough. Students needed real-world experience. Employers needed Job-ready talent. And parents needed assurance that their child’s education would lead to a real, rewarding career — not just a certificate.
